A whimsical story emerged as I looked at this naturally formed piece of Wood.
I imagined a waterfall that Pixies could slide down for amusement alongside the second piece, a chair the other Pixies would rest in, soaking up sunshine. To amplify the playful sentiment, I elevated the wood on copper wire supports to mimic plant stems or little trees. The cement represents the roots.
The base is a cement drill out (a cement core made by a diamond drill, used to make holes in cement floors), where I exposed the rods inside the mirror roots jutting out of the ground. The plant stems are support rods wrapped in copper wire and featuring copper wire 4 leaf clovers.
The wood pieces are one of a kind finds that Mother Nature herself shaped. All sealed with Epoxy Resin, the longer piece sports more resin, mimicking a stream of water. I love how Mother Nature creates beautiful details in one-of-a-kind masterpieces.

The PIXIES' WATERFALL / Original Sculpture - By Pietro Palamara is evocative, to say the least, but that's why you're drawn to it in the first place.
