It’s the outer limits of the metal flower field, where some of the soil isn’t covered by flowers or roots.
I gave the soil a coppery colour to mimic iron rich soil. The green is for a mossy feel and when you think that perhaps the soil is contaminated by man's careless nature, the colour green comes to mind. Solder flower, solder roots and copper wire clovers.
