NATTY PACHECO
Born in the idyllic Azores islands off the coast of Portugal, Natty Pacheco came to Canada at the tender age of 4. Her innate talent for creating, drawing and painting soon came to light during a childhood filled with love and support within a tightly knit family.
As a young person, she was able to hone her artistic talents with a variety of art teachers who encouraged her creativity. A self-taught artist, Natty’s ability to capture the romantic movement of a woman playing the violin, the eyes of a child, or a fiercely proud wolf seem effortless, yet she takes the necessary time to bring her ideas and observations to life.
Natty’s paintings articulate traditional still-life, the romanticism of landscapes and story-telling portraits.
