LA PLACE VENDOME

Created by the Action Artistique de la Ville de Paris, is a spectacular book depicting the history of the Place Vendome.  Designed by Jules Hardouin-Mansart in 1699, this classic architectural model is octagonal in shape,  anchored by the Hotel Ritz de Paris and major fine jewelry brands who call the Place Vendome their home.

Published in 2003, this coffee table book pays homage to the history of Paris from the Royal Courts, to the French Revolution and now a distinct gathering spot for citizens and tourists alike.
